This unique wild-grown tea originates from ancient tea trees that range from 7 - 800 years old. These trees grow in a remote western part of Vietnam, close to the Chinese and Laotian borders. The Nam Lahn ancient tea trees have a unique character, with heavy malty notes and contain approximately 85 percent more polyphenols than other cultivated varieties of tea. Complemented by flavorful tones of plum and berry with hibiscus and osmanthus flowers. This tea makes a remarkably satisfying cup of full bodied black tea, as well as a totally refreshing treat when iced.
